The Process

Slow, iterative, and entirely yours.

Every chronicle is different. The shape it takes — memoir, website, photo archive, or something we invent together — emerges from the conversations we have. Here is the general rhythm.

  1. 01

    An honest first conversation

We meet — over coffee, over Zoom, in your living room. No recorders yet. We talk about who the chronicle is for, what shape it might take, and whether we're the right fit for each other.

  2. 02

    Recorded sessions

Ten or more hours of guided conversation, recorded with your blessing. I bring the questions; you bring the stories. Sessions can stretch across weeks or months — whatever the rhythm of your life allows.

  3. 03

    Material gathering

Photographs, letters, slides, home video. We digitize what matters and place it inside the story so a face has a name and a name has a face.

  4. 04

    Shaping the form

A written memoir. A private interactive website. A photo book. A combination. We choose the form together, iteratively, and reshape it as the material reveals itself.

  5. 05

    Delivery & private access

The finished chronicle is delivered to you and, if you wish, made privately available to family. It's yours to share, withhold, expand, or revise — for as long as you'd like.
